Which PHP versions are available?

You can choose PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 or 8.4 and switch the version yourself from the panel. An ionCube loader variant is also available for encoded scripts. This way legacy apps and current frameworks can run on the same hosting.

Do I get a MySQL/MariaDB database?

Yes, every WebHost plan includes a MariaDB database, fully compatible with MySQL. You create it in the panel and connect to it from your PHP, Node.js or Python code. The credentials are listed in the databases tab.

Can I host WordPress or another CMS?

Accepted Answer

Yes, WordPress and similar CMSs are PHP applications, so you can host them: upload the files via WebFTP or SFTP, create a MariaDB database and run the app's own web installer. There is no one-click installer, but the whole process comes down to uploading files and entering database credentials.

Can I run a Node.js or Python app?

Yes, WebHost is Docker-based, so besides the default nginx + PHP stack you can run your own Node.js or Python application. It works well for APIs, webhooks or a site backend. Files are uploaded the same way, through WebFTP or SFTP.

Yes, daily automatic backups are kept for 2 days, and you can also trigger a manual backup from the panel. Before a bigger change to your site you can secure the files and the database with one click.
