A fresh Palworld dedicated server takes several GB right after launch, and usage grows with every base and bred Pal. The 6 GB Pal plan (30 PLN) is fine for a small group starting out, but we recommend 8-10 GB for regular play and 12 GB or more for many bases and long sessions. You can upgrade any time with prorated billing.

The game supports up to 32 players on a dedicated server, and you set the cap yourself in PalWorldSettings.ini. MatHost imposes no slot limit - you pay for resources, not players. Keep in mind that more players and bases mean higher RAM usage, so pick 10 GB or more for bigger groups.

Yes. The world lives on the server's NVMe drive and the server runs 24/7, so progress persists even when everyone is offline. On top of that, an automatic backup runs every 24 hours and is kept for 2 days, and you can trigger a manual backup from the panel with one click.

You have full file access via WebFTP and SFTP, so you can update the server as soon as a patch ships. Make a manual backup from the panel before a bigger update - if anything breaks, you restore the world from the copy. And if you get stuck, support typically replies within about 15 minutes.
